With 2024 soon to be coming to a close and 2025 just around the corner, in the current state of the world it is both exciting and daunting at the same time. In this era in the tech industry there is both a polarizing apocalyptic and hopeful feel of the future we are about to head into. AI is on the rise and a new era of tech is beginning.
2024 has been a great year for me personally to discover these new technologies on the rise and build software aimed at utilizing them. This year I developed AI tools able to perform custom commands pulling from databases for context and source material data, and a chatbot built in Alpine.js where I can stream the commands and get updates from the context.
This is all well and good but its closed source and as much as I would like to release I have no intention of doing that. However I have an aim though at least for 2025 and I would like to make my findings and developments more open. Because there is always a bunch of really cool stuff I do that no one ever gets to see or hear about.
This year in 2024 I have already made a start on just that. By making small projects of mine and assets open source. In 2025 I hope to make more contributions and hopefully create some masterpieces and dumb projects / tools.

- IOT Audino (Have one lying around collecting dust and want to put it to work)
- HomeAssistant tools (I like having my own personal Jarvis and you should too)
- Chrome extension Markdown Readme Bookmark manager (Hear me out… I don’t like bookmark managers. Like a freak all my bookmarks live in a markdown file)
- More AI projects – Not sure what else yet but I want to do stupid things first
What I want to Learn
- Currently learning AWS to get a cert and going down that Devops route (I’ve only ever done hardcore self hosted bare metal)
- More about electronics & NON computer engineering
- Machine Learning Algorithms
- More about Web3 and how I can utilize it

To conclude on all this 2024 has been interesting to say the least. Has had it’s ups and downs but overall cant complain. As a developer to be at the forefront of this all it’s all the more reason to dive headfirst into all of this to hopefully build a vision worth sharing.
